Help center Find grants
Federal grants and State grants
Search every open federal grant on Grants.gov and every open California state grant.
Open Federal grants in the portal
Federal grants
Federal grants, in the Find menu, lists everything open or forecasted on Grants.gov, updated every hour. Use it to search beyond what your clients' match preferences pick up.
Type words from a grant's title, pick agencies if you like, and choose Search. Each card shows whether the grant is posted or forecasted, its deadline, its number and a Grants.gov link to the full listing.
State grants
State grants lists California grants open or forecasted on the California Grants Portal, updated every morning. Many are ongoing, with no deadline, and their cards say Ongoing. Search works the same way, without the agency filter.
Add a grant to Grants
With one client picked in the Client menu, choose Add for that client. Under All clients, choose the client from For client, then Add.
A grant already in Grants shows a check mark with each client that has it and its status. A grant can be in Grants once for each client.
Federal grants can only be added for clients with federal grants turned on. If none are, the cards are grayed out and a note links to the client's page, where you can turn them on (see Federal grants on the client page). State grants don't need this.
Grants you add from Grants.gov are watched for you, so a changed deadline or a closed listing shows up in Alerts.
