Alerts and watching
Deadline reminders and changes to the grants you follow.
What Alerts shows
Open Alerts with the bell at the top right. The number on the bell is how many alerts are waiting. Alerts has two lists:
- Changes: a grant you watch changed on Grants.gov. Its deadline moved (with the old date), a forecasted grant opened, or the listing closed. Choose Dismiss once you've seen it.
- Coming up: deadlines and milestones in the next two weeks for grants you're applying for, and for grants you watch. These clear on their own when the grant moves past Applying, or a week after the date. Reports due on Awarded grants show from a month before they're due and stay until you tick them submitted, and the end of an award period shows a month either side, until you close out the award. Client documents that expire within a month, or already have (such as a SAM.gov registration), are here too, with a link to the client's documents, until you upload the new copy. A foundation's Follow up date shows from two weeks before, and for a month after if you don't change it. Choose Open funder to log what you did and set the next date.
Watch a grant
Choose the eye icon (Watch for changes) on a Recommended or Federal grants card to follow a grant without adding it to Grants. It fills in while you're watching; choose it again to stop. Grants you add from Grants.gov are watched for you.
The daily email
GrantAssembly also emails you each morning when there's something new: new recommended grants, changes to grants you watch, what's coming up (including award reports due in the next two weeks, and foundation follow-ups a week before, the day before and on the day), and documents to renew. When new grants are for more than one client, they're listed client by client. To leave out one client's new grants, use the Email switch on the client's page. To turn the email off, see Account settings, or choose Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.
